Indoor Stair Railing and Outdoor Guardrail, Custom Wrought Iron...

It is in a magnificent family home, in Charente-Maritime (France, 17) that these works were installed.
 
This house, belonging to the same family for several generations, required several years of work.

It was only at the very last place that we intervened for the realization of a stair railing and for the window railings.

Sober and Classic Stair railing

     For the design of this railing, we wanted with the clients, to remain simple, classic and sober in accordance with the architecture of the house and its history: nothing ostentatious.

 

     A small frieze under the handrail underlines the slope of the staircase and gives body to the work, without imposing itself.

 

     The brass handrail gives it elegance and the “Campagne Chic” spirit…

 

     The idea is that we have the impression that this banister has always been there!

 

     The structure is made of solid steel. The main assemblies are screwed.

     Forged volutes (in the slope).

     “Antique” patina finish and varnished.

Window guardrail

    This is a set of 6 wrought iron railings that we installed.

 

    The design was specially designed for the house, between classicism and contemporary, but always respecting the architecture.

 

    The forged pompom seems to catch the wind… a very light detail…
